Superstructures

“Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard is proud of having big experience and know-how in building superstructures for various types of ships. During the long years of work “Baltija” has built more than 50 superstructures.

For a long time “Baltija” was producing painted and outfitted superstructures only for post-panamax container vessels, being built at "Odense Steel Shipyard" Ltd., Odense, Denmark and smaller size deckhouses for "Volkswerft Stralsund GmbH" (VWS). Recently “Baltija” has proved its competence in building superstructures for Ro-Ro vessels and bulk carrier vessels.

Superstructures produced by “Baltija” meet the highest quality requirements. Turn-key superstructures are completely outfitted and include insulation, carpeting, ceilings, electrical cables, various types of equipment and even furniture. Depending on the size, the superstructures are delivered in one or two parts.
