End of the year with new order

2009 “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard ends up with signing of new contract.

According to the agreement “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard will produce a huge steel block for MEYER WERFT GmbH (Germany). Steel block designed for the fore part of the ship will be partly outfitted. Cutting of first sections will start in the middle of January. Delivery of the block is planned in the beginning of May 2010.

Block approx. 600 t weight will be delivered to the customer in two separate parts.
