In 2007 total steel construction output amounted to 53,400t. During the next few years “Baltija” Shipyard expects to further increase steel construction output. The most important directions of company activity in 2007 were:
- Steel blocks and outfitted superstructures for container vessels which being built at “Odense Steel Shipyard” in Odense, Denmark;
- Outfitted superstructures for container vessels being built by Group Volkswerft Stralsund GmbH, in Germany;
- Steel blocks production for Kleven Verft, in Norway;
- Steel blocks for cruise ships, which being built at “Aker Yards” in Finland;
The net turnover in 2007 was nearly 158mln. litas and exceed the turnover by 6,8 per cent of 2006. The net profit in 2007 was 34 thousands litas.
