Huge steel block was send to Finland

“Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard completed the first block of second cruise ship "Genesis." Huge, almost 1,000 tonnes of weight block was send to Finland on the barge. Block consists of three parts - the right and left side and of the central part.

This block was made for the central part of the ship's bottom. The order was analogous for another “Aker Yards” order, which was ended in the beginning of this year (now “Aker Yards” is called as "STX Cruise Finland OY”). For this cruise ship BSY produce 4 blocks. The remaining three blocks are for the front of the ship.
