"The bridge to the future"

In July 2005 Baltija Shipbuilding Yard organized a campaign of searching for potential employees (looking for fitters and welders) “The bridge to the future”. The major purpose of this campaign is to attract potential employees from local regions into Klaipeda. In this connection Baltija have organized several seminars in Plunge, Telshiai and Kretinga, where more detailed information about opportunities for working at Baltija Shipbuilding Yard was provided.

Organizers of the campaign emphasized several benefits:

• free trip (home-shipyard-home);
• opportunities for development and training, getting class certificates on the yard’s account;
• social guaranties and social support if it is necessary;
• always paid in due time “white” salary (taxes included);
• stable work for years (thanks to full order book);
• free to use: working clothes, tools, instruments.
