“Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard, located in Klaipeda, Lithuania is looking for long-term partnership and offers free capacity for building ships and various steel constructions, such as blocks, offshore structures, industrial constructions, superstructures living modules.
In March 2009 “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard successfully finished project for STX Europe (formerly Aker Yards, Turku). “Baltija” produced steel blocks for two world’s largest cruise ships “Oasis of the Seas” and “Allure of the Seas” which are constructed in accordance with “Genesis” design.
22 July 2010 the purchase transaction of AB “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard and UAB “Baltic Engineering Centre” was completed by “BLRT Grupp”. “BLRT Grupp” acquired - 99.18 percent. shares of “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard and 100 percent of UAB “Baltic Engineering Centre” shares.
9 June 2010 Odense Steel Shipyard Ltd. A/S has entered into an agreement on the sale of AB “BALTIJOS” LAIVŲ STATYKLA and UAB “BALTIC ENGINEERING CENTRE” (Baltija Shipyard and BEC) to BLRT Grupp AS.
