In March 2009 “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard successfully finished project for STX Europe (formerly Aker Yards, Turku). “Baltija” produced steel blocks for two world’s largest cruise ships “Oasis of the Seas” and “Allure of the Seas” which are constructed in accordance with “Genesis” design.
Many clients already know that name of “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard means reliability and quality. These our specific features, allowed to build superstructure and steel parts for the world's largest containership “Emma Mærsk”. “Emma Mærsk” is 397 meters length and 56 m width.
Frost down to -20 °C and heavy snow didn’t destroy “Baltija’s” production plans. Despite extreme winter conditions, “Baltija” Shipyard operated normally in January.
2009 “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard ends up with signing of new contract. According to the agreement “Baltija” Shipbuilding Yard will produce a huge steel block for MEYER WERFT GmbH (Germany).
